Home-from-Home Environment: We provide a homely, spacious environment so that each and every child can settle quickly at our nursery.

Well-Resourced Playrooms: Our purpose built nursery has been created with your child’s development in mind. We provide the best resources and facilities to truly help your child grow and thrive.

Large Outdoor Space: We have a large nursery garden available to all our nursery children. Our outdoor area includes an outdoor Yurt and a log burner which we use for supervised outdoor activities.

Long-Serving Qualified Staff: We have a great team at our nursery with many of our staff members spending most of their Early Years career with us.

Nutritional and Tasty Menus: We are passionate about healthy eating. That’s why nutritious and tasty meals are in our inclusive fees so you can be sure your child is getting the right nutrition while in our care.

Location

Our nursery is located on the outskirts of Wellingborough, just of the A45 and A509. We are only a 6 minute drive from the town centre and main train station. We are also situated near two large housing developments, Glenvale and Stanton Cross, making us a great choice for both local and commuting families within the area.

Curriculum

Our day nursery is not just a childcare provision, but a place where children can benefit from exceptional Early Years learning.

The foundations for our curriculum is loose parts play which is open-ended, natural resources that can be moved, combined, redesigned, and taken apart.

The purpose for this is to facilitate joy, awe and wonder in all children, help them develop problem solving skills, physical and cognitive development.

We also follows the foundations of the Curiosity Approach, allowing children to follow their own interests and exploring the natural world!

Team

Our nursery team has built strong, lasting bonds with the children and is committed to providing the best Early Years experience. We are proud to have long-standing, experienced staff members who bring consistency and expertise to our care.

Parent Partnership

Our day nursery is not just for the children, but for our families too!

Our nursery app provides updates on your child’s daily activities, care plans and meals, ensuring seamless communication and keeping you connected to your child’s learning journey.

We have a nursery library and home learning bags, to help families continuing their learning journey at home, parent meetings to discuss your child’s development.

We also hold special events for our families, for example open day events and seasonal festivities.

Facilities

Our Wellingborough nursery provides a nurturing environment and welcoming atmosphere for all the children in our care. We have top of the range facilities to help your child grow and flourish, so you can be sure that they have the best start in life.

Playrooms

Our Amethyst room caters for our youngest babies, situated on the ground floor in a cosy, warm environment.

Our Jade and Opal rooms are also on the ground floor for our older babies with free flow access to our garden.

Our toddler room, also known as our Sapphire room, which is located on our ground floor, allows children to develop lots of independence before they transition to our first floor rooms and also with free flow access to the garden.

Our younger preschool room, known as our Diamond room, and Emerald room for our older preschool children, are our largest rooms and are full of exciting opportunities preparing the children for school life!

Garden

Our garden is large enough for all our children to explore together! Our outdoor space wraps around the nursery offering a mixture of natural grass and artificial grass, the yurt is situated in a corner.

We also have a decking area for the non mobile babies to take part in activities, a wild garden with a mud kitchen and bug hotel and a large sandpit with water pump.

Activities

We hold many activities everyday for our baby, toddler and preschool children!

These include Boogie Mites for our older children, Mini Mites for our younger children, yoga, woodwork session, Sing & Sign and more!

We find that our additional activities adds excitement and fun to our Early Years curriculum for each and every child.

Emma has worked in childcare for 26 years. She is a strong believer in wellbeing and the importance of mental health for both the children and the team. Emma is an advocate for developing the individual personalities of the children, with them always being the centre of their own learning journey.
