Welcome to Pippa’s House Day Nursery on Queens Road, close to the heart of Weybridge. Set in a spacious building with extensive outdoor areas, we are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
Weybridge train station is nearby, with on-street parking available locally for drop-offs and pick-ups. Natalie and the team take time to get to know each child, creating a familiar and welcoming environment from the start.
Children’s wellbeing is at the heart of nursery life. Our extensive outdoor space gives children plenty of opportunities to move, play and spend time in the fresh air, while cosy reading areas provide comfortable spaces for quieter moments. Our sensory room offers another dedicated space where children can step away from busier activities and enjoy a change of pace.
Strong relationships with families are an important part of our approach. We keep communication regular and open, sharing updates throughout the nursery day so families can stay connected with their child’s experiences, learning and development.
Children at our Weybridge nursery enjoy a varied mix of experiences shaped around their age, stage and interests. Music and movement sessions, Spanish lessons, our splat room and loose parts classroom give children different opportunities to get creative, explore and learn through play.
Regular outings into the local area extend these experiences beyond the nursery, giving children opportunities to explore Weybridge and become more familiar with the community around them.
Our Weybridge nursery has four dedicated playrooms for different ages and stages, each thoughtfully arranged with resources and experiences suited to the children who spend their time there.
Children move into their next room when they are developmentally and emotionally ready, with our team supporting each transition around the individual child.
Beyond the main playrooms, our splat room provides a dedicated space for painting and messy play, while the loose parts classroom is filled with open-ended materials children can explore, combine and build with. Cosy reading areas offer quieter spaces to enjoy books and stories together.
Outdoor space
Our extensive outdoor space gives children plenty of room to move, play and explore throughout the year. Alongside opportunities for active play, the garden is used for planned experiences and outdoor learning, extending what children can discover beyond the playrooms.
Our smaller courtyard provides another space to explore, with bikes, blocks, spades and buckets giving children different ways to get active, create and play outdoors.
Consistent, individual care is an important part of life at our Weybridge nursery. Small classroom groups give our team more opportunities to get to know each child, understand their individual needs and spend focused time with them throughout the day.
Regular, open communication with families supports that individual approach, helping us share what children need, what they are interested in and how their nursery experience is developing.
Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children’s learning and development across all areas through a thoughtful balance of adult-guided experiences and child-led play.
Throughout the nursery day, children have opportunities to follow their interests, explore new ideas and learn alongside others, supporting their growing communication, independence and social skills at their own pace.
Some of the best learning is planned, and some of it grows from what children discover for themselves. At our Weybridge nursery, we bring both together, balancing purposeful adult-guided experiences with child-led play and exploration.
Our spacious building and extensive outdoor areas give children plenty of opportunities to make choices, follow their interests and try things for themselves. With support from our team, these everyday decisions encourage growing independence and confidence in what they can do.
For families with more than one child, having siblings at our Weybridge nursery means one drop-off and pick-up, while each child has a dedicated playroom suited to their own age and stage.
Our extensive outdoor area is shared across the nursery, giving brothers and sisters opportunities to see each other and share parts of their nursery day while still enjoying experiences designed around their individual needs.
Sibling places are subject to availability, but where we have space in the appropriate room, we will always look at the options for welcoming brothers and sisters together.
Led by Nursery Manager Natalie, our experienced team at Pippa’s House Weybridge take time to build strong relationships with each child, getting to know their individual needs, interests and personalities as they develop.
Our in-house chef is part of nursery life too, freshly preparing healthy, balanced meals and giving children opportunities to explore different tastes and flavours at mealtimes.
