Welcome to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Ower, set in beautifully converted stables at Wade Park Farm on Salisbury Road. We look after children aged 0 to 5 years, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm.
We are surrounded by rural fields and sit directly opposite Paultons Park, just off the M27 and close to Pollards Moor Road, Frogmore Lane and Romsey Road. That makes us easy to reach from Romsey, Ower and across the wider New Forest.
Wellbeing at Kiddi Caru Ower begins with fresh air and good food. Our on-site chef prepares nutritious, balanced meals every day, and both gardens are used daily, so children get outside whatever the season. Our rural setting means the pace here stays calm and unhurried.
We keep families closely involved too. Parents and carers receive regular updates through the GrandirUK app, and our team are always available to talk through routines, discuss progress or answer a question at the door. We also offer home-learning resources and host events that bring families together.
Children at Ower take part in sports sessions, tennis, and music and movement, alongside plenty of chances to explore nature in the fields and gardens around us. Each activity is chosen to build physical confidence, creative expression and social skills, and to keep children genuinely enjoying what they are learning.
Our nursery in Ower is housed in beautifully converted stables, which gives us bright, airy rooms filled with natural light. Each one is designed to inspire curiosity and creativity, and to feel comfortable and engaging for the children in it.
Children transition between rooms based on readiness rather than age, so each move is supportive and matched to what that child needs at the time.
Outdoor space
We have two gardens, used every day for outdoor play and fresh air. The larger garden has a climbing frame and open space for active, indoor-outdoor play, while the smaller garden gives children under two a cosy, secure place to explore, with a covered pergola area to enjoy.
Warmth and familiarity shape the care we give at Ower. Children are known well by the adults around them, which is what allows a child to feel secure, ask for help and take the small risks that build independence and self-belief.
Our early years curriculum puts each child at the centre of their own learning through the Curiosity Approach. Our team plan experiences that support communication, physical development, problem-solving and early literacy, helping children make sense of the world and approach school with confidence.
We believe a child’s own questions are the best place to start. Our converted stables at Ower are bright and full of natural light, and the Curiosity Approach lets children’s inquisitiveness lead the day. With rural fields on our doorstep, there is always something new to notice, and children grow confident by working it out for themselves.
One journey down Salisbury Road instead of two makes a real difference to a family morning. Our converted stables are compact enough that a baby and an older sibling are never far apart, and both gardens sit right outside. Where availability allows, we will always try to keep brothers and sisters together at Ower.
Laura is our Nursery Manager at Kiddi Caru Ower, leading a long-serving team whose consistency is what makes children feel understood here. Many colleagues hold Early Years qualifications, and we have a SENCo on the team to make sure children with additional needs get the right support at the right time.
