Our location
Our Kiddi Caru nursery is located on Gull Coppice, right next to the primary school and close to Yew Tree Drive, making drop‑offs and pick‑ups simple for local families. We are a short walk from Swanwick Train Station and near the M27, offering easy access for families travelling from Park Gate, Beacon Bottom, Fareham, and surrounding areas.
Parking is also available directly outside the nursery. Please note that we are on a road that operates as a one-way system.
About Our Nursery
Curriculum
We follow a rich Early Years curriculum that supports communication, creativity, physical development, and early understanding of the world. Children learn through play, discovery, and hands‑on experiences that build confidence and essential skills for school.
Children also benefit from a range of bespoke educational programmes designed to help children develop independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Team
Our dedicated team of Early Years professionals are passionate about providing high‑quality care and education. Many staff members have been with us for years, offering stability and consistency for children and families.
We have qualified SENCo staff, multilingual team members, and practitioners with a wide range of Early Years experience. Their knowledge, warmth, and commitment help create a safe, supportive environment where children thrive.

Parent partnerships
We value strong parent partnerships and work closely with families to support each child’s development. Parents receive regular updates through our Grandir UK app, including photos, routines, and progress information.
Families are invited to join Stay and Play sessions, Open Days, seasonal events, and parent evenings. We also offer a lending library and provide guidance on topics such as toilet training, transitions, and preparing for school.
Facilities
Our purpose‑built nursery offers eight well‑designed rooms, each filled with natural light and high‑quality resources. Children enjoy free‑flow access to the garden, a calming reception area, and a mindfulness space that supports emotional well-being. Our woodland area and outdoor learning spaces encourage exploration, imagination, and connection with nature.
Playrooms
Our playrooms follow a sea‑animal theme and support different age groups. Clam (Babies) – A cosy, nurturing baby room with a home-from-home feel and direct garden access and use of our sensory room. Crab, Starfish & Seahorse (Younger Toddlers) – Bright, engaging rooms with free‑flow access to the garden for outdoor play. Octopus & Seal (Older Toddlers) – Stimulating spaces that encourage independence, communication, and exploration. Dolphin & Whale (Preschool) – Purposeful learning environments that prepare children for school through Early Years activities designed to build confidence and key skills. Children transition between rooms based on readiness, ensuring a supportive and child‑led process.

Garden
Our large garden includes a mud kitchen, woodland area, cosy spaces, and a pergola for shaded play. Children enjoy active play, nature exploration, and opportunities to grow plants as part of our educational programmes.
Activities
Children enjoy a range of enriching activities, including Boogie Mites, yoga, sports, language groups, helicopter stories, tennis sessions, and loose‑parts play. As an Eco-School, we also encourage environmental awareness and leadership through our Preschool Council.
Community outings
We enjoy strong links with the local community in Gull Coppice and beyond. Children take part in nature walks and visit places such as Humble Heights Care Home through our work with Embracing Age Hampshire, helping them connect with others and explore the world around them
