Tara
Nursery Manager
Welcome to Kiddi Caru Redhill, a warm and nurturing nursery where children aged 3 months to 5 years enjoy a caring environment designed to help them thrive. Our setting is a vibrant, imaginative space where children learn through play, explore the world around them, and build confidence during the crucial Early Years Foundation Stage.
We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where every child and family feels genuinely valued. Our dedicated team provides high‑quality early years education, organising engaging daily activities, outdoor learning experiences, and regular trips in the local area. Many families tell us they genuinely feel part of a larger community, and we work closely with parents to ensure every child receives the best possible start.

About our Nursery
Our curriculum
Our curriculum is rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage and designed to support effective learning through play, exploration, and curiosity. We follow a play‑based curriculum inspired by the Curiosity Approach, encouraging children to follow their interests, develop new skills, and build confidence at their own pace.
We use In‑the‑Moment planning to introduce children to meaningful learning experiences, ensuring every child’s individual needs are met. From imaginative play and outdoor learning to early literacy and language development, our curriculum prepares children for school time and supports their early learning goals.

Our team
We are fortunate to have a passionate, experienced team of practitioners and nursery assistants who bring genuine love, knowledge, and dedication to their work every day helping children reach their full potential. Our staff build strong relationships with children and families, creating a safe environment where every child feels supported, understood, and excited to learn.
Our nursery manager leads a committed team that includes a skilled SENCo who works closely with families to ensure children with additional needs receive tailored support. We also invest in continuous professional development, helping our team grow their expertise and stay up to date with best practice in early years education.
Parent partnerships
We value strong relationships with families and believe good communication is essential. Our Grandir UK app keeps parents informed with daily updates on their child’s progress, routines, and upcoming events. We also host regular events throughout the year, including stay and play sessions, seasonal celebrations, sports days, and graduation parties, helping families feel connected and involved in their child’s journey.
Our coffee station and lending library offer welcoming spaces for parents to relax, connect, and share a love of stories with their children.
Our facilities
Our nursery features beautiful play areas and charming outdoor spaces designed to support each age group. Natural light, high‑quality resources, and cosy corners create a warm, inspiring learning environment where children feel safe and ready to explore.
Playrooms
Our Ducklings baby room is a calm, nurturing space with sensory‑rich resources and a newly refurbished terrace garden for gentle outdoor exploration.
Waterlilies offers a vibrant environment for toddlers, with interactive play areas and a dedicated outdoor space designed for discovery.
Signets provides stimulating activities for older toddlers, supporting physical development, creativity, and early independence.
Our Swans preschool room prepares children for school with a rich learning environment, a magical treehouse, and a growing garden that encourages curiosity and hands‑on learning.
Transitions between rooms are based on each child’s emotional, social, and physical readiness, ensuring a smooth, supportive journey.

Garden
We have four dedicated gardens, each designed to suit the needs of different age groups. With mud kitchens, water play, natural materials, and imaginative spaces, our gardens offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor learning, physical development, and nature exploration.
Activities
Our nursery offers a wide range of extracurricular activities that support children’s development and well‑being. These include PE sessions with ProTots, Make and Bake, yoga, Boogie Mites, Mini Mites, parachute play, and Forest School sessions. These experiences help children build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy fun, active days filled with discovery.
Community outings
We believe in learning beyond the classroom. Children enjoy regular outings to the local pond, care home visits, Tesco trips for cooking ingredients, and adventures with our Kiddi Caru wagon. These experiences nurture curiosity, build social confidence, and create joyful memories.
