Coffee Station: Our dedicated coffee station provides a warm, inviting space for parents to relax, connect with one another, and feel at home.

Lending Library: A thoughtful resource for both parents and children, offering books perfect for reading together during settling-in periods or at home – creating special moments to share a love for stories and nurture a shared love of learning.

Regular Events: We also host regular events throughout the year, giving families a chance to come together and celebrate special moments. These include our Valentine’s Day Ball, August Carnival Day, Halloween Monster’s Ball, Stay and Play sessions, Sports Day in July, Santa’s Grotto, Tea Parties, Spring Party, Euros Celebrations, Horley Carnival, Saturday Graduation Parties, and Room Open Evenings. These events not only create lasting memories but also strengthen the bond between our nursery, children, and families.

At Kiddi Caru Redhill, we take pride in our beautiful, age-appropriate play rooms and gardens designed to prepare children for their future school journey. These spaces are thoughtfully created to support each child’s development:

Ducklings: Our baby room is a warm, inviting space thoughtfully designed to support the early development of our smallest learners. Featuring a newly refurbished terrace garden, this serene outdoor area allows babies to engage with nature and enjoy fresh air. Inside, the room is equipped with soft, sensory-rich toys and cosy nooks to promote exploration and comfort.

Waterlilies: The Waterlilies room is a vibrant, engaging space tailored to the curiosity and energy of little learners. This room features a thoughtfully designed room with soft, colourful furnishings and interactive play areas that encourage exploration and development. It boasts a spacious downstairs outdoor area designed specifically for toddler exploration and discovery.

Signets: Our Signets room offers a stimulating environment for our older toddlers with age-appropriate toys and engaging activities. It has an engaging outdoor space that encourages active play, perfect for toddlers to develop their skills and enjoy physical activity.

Swans (Preschool room): Our preschool classroom provides an enriching environment for older children, designed to spark curiosity and support early learning. The preschool garden includes a magical treehouse and a growing garden with herbs and flowers, providing a rich environment for imaginative play and sensory experiences.

Garden

At our Redhill Nursery, we have four gardens! Every room has its own dedicated outdoor space, allowing children to enjoy the fresh air and explore their surroundings in a safe environment.

Each garden area includes a mud kitchen and water play station, encouraging hands-on learning and sensory exploration.

Our preschool garden is particularly exciting, featuring a tree house, a cosy hut, a growing garden for budding gardeners, and a bike track to promote physical development and fun outdoor play.

Activities

Our nursery offers a rich variety of activities designed to support children’s holistic development while keeping their days filled with fun and excitement.

PE Sessions: Led by the expert coaches at ProTots, these sessions focus on physical development, motor skills, and well-being through active play.

Make and Bake: Encouraging creativity and hands-on learning, children enjoy baking delicious treats and exploring the wonders of cooking.

Yoga: We have yoga sessions for our Signets and Swans, A calming yet engaging activity that helps children build balance, flexibility, and mindfulness, supporting their emotional and physical development.

Boogie Mites and Mini Mites: Lively music and movement sessions that spark creativity and boost coordination. Sometimes, we even take these activities outdoors to the park, combining music with nature for a unique experience.

Parachute Play: Fun, interactive group games that bring children together, promoting teamwork and social engagement while keeping everyone energized.

Forest School Sessions: These exciting sessions immerse children in the wonders of the natural world. From climbing and swinging to woodcraft and jumping in muddy puddles, children learn new skills, build confidence, and gain an appreciation for nature. Fire safety lessons are also included, teaching valuable knowledge in a hands-on way.

Community Outings

We believe in learning beyond the classroom, providing children with daily outings that make every day an adventure. Our local community delights in seeing our children happy and singing, as well as spotting our Kiddi Caru wagon on its many adventures.

Local Field with Pond: Just a 5-minute walk away, our regular trips to the pond are a highlight, where children enjoy feeding the ducks and observing nature.

Picnic Adventures: Each room has its own colourful picnic blankets and wicker baskets, which the children love to take along on outdoor adventures, making lunchtime even more exciting.

Acorns Care Home Visits: Our monthly visits to the local care home provide meaningful opportunities for children to interact with residents, promoting empathy and intergenerational bonding.

Tesco Trips: Children love these outings to gather ingredients for fun and engaging cooking activities back at the nursery.
