Welcome to Pippa’s House Day Nursery on Blackborough Road in Reigate, a short distance from the town centre. Set in a thoughtfully renovated building, we are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:30pm.
On-street parking and nearby public car parks offer convenient options for drop-offs and pick-ups. Inside, Samantha and the team take time to get to know each child, creating a warm and welcoming environment where children can settle in at their own pace.
Children’s emotional wellbeing is an important part of nursery life. In the baby room, quiet reading areas and sensory resources provide spaces for gentler moments, while our sensory room gives children a dedicated space to step away from busier activities and enjoy a change of pace. Both gardens also provide plenty of opportunities to get outdoors, move and play throughout the year.
Strong, supportive partnerships with families are an important part of our approach. Our team are open and approachable, whether you want to talk about your child’s individual care, their nursery experience or practical arrangements such as extra sessions.
We stay in regular contact throughout the week and share daily updates about your child’s experiences and progress, helping families stay connected with nursery life.
Activities at Pippa's House Reigate are shaped around children’s interests and stages of development, with opportunities for arts and crafts, sensory play and outdoor exploration in our dedicated Forest School area.
Older children can also take part in Spanish lessons and Playball, while regular outings into Reigate give them opportunities to explore and become more familiar with their local community.
Our renovated building on Blackborough Road has dedicated rooms for different ages and stages, each thoughtfully arranged with resources and experiences suited to the children who spend their time there.
For our youngest children, we work closely with families to understand individual needs and home routines. Sharing this information helps us provide consistency between home and nursery and support each child as they settle in at their own pace.
Elsewhere, our splat room provides a dedicated space for painting and messy play, while the loose parts classroom gives children open-ended materials to explore, combine and create with. Cosy reading areas offer comfortable spaces to enjoy books and stories together.
Outdoor space
Our Reigate nursery has two gardens, giving children outdoor spaces suited to different ages and stages. Babies have their own dedicated garden, with opportunities to move, explore and develop their physical skills as their mobility grows.
Toddlers and preschool children have access to our spacious second garden throughout the year, with plenty of room for active play, games and outdoor learning. The garden also includes our dedicated Forest School area, where children can explore the natural environment and take part in hands-on outdoor experiences.
Our approach to care is built around individual attention. Small classroom groups give our team more opportunities to get to know each child, understand their needs and interests, and spend focused time with them throughout the day.
Open, regular communication with families is an important part of that approach. By sharing the everyday moments as well as children’s progress, we can work together to support each child throughout their time at nursery.
Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with experiences designed to support children’s learning and development across all areas.
Through play, exploration and purposeful experiences, children have opportunities to develop their physical, social and emotional skills, follow their curiosity and grow in confidence as they discover more about the world around them.
Children develop at their own pace, and our approach gives them the time and space to do just that. Our renovated building near Reigate town centre has dedicated rooms and gardens for different age groups, creating environments shaped around children at each stage of their development.
This means younger children and preschool children can each enjoy spaces, experiences and resources suited to their needs, with a familiar team supporting them as they explore, build confidence and become increasingly independent.
For families with more than one child, having siblings at the same nursery means one drop-off and pick-up, while each child can enjoy spaces and experiences suited to their own age and stage.
Babies have their own dedicated garden, while toddlers and preschool children share the second garden. This gives siblings opportunities to see each other during the nursery day while still having their own rooms, routines and experiences.
Sibling places are subject to availability, but where we have space in the appropriate room, we will always look at the options for welcoming brothers and sisters together.
Led by Nursery Manager Samantha, our team at Pippa’s House Reigate take time to build strong relationships with each child, getting to know their individual needs, interests and personalities as they settle in and grow.
Our qualified nursery chef is part of the wider team, preparing healthy, nutritious food for children to enjoy at mealtimes.
