Our location
Our Dicky Birds Day Nursery and Preschool is situated in a lovely building conveniently close to Raynes Park train station and nearby bus stops. We are easily accessible for families and close to local amenities, ensuring a smooth drop off and pick up.
Dicky Birds nurseries have multiple settings in the Raynes Park area with our Outstanding Pepys Road nursery also located close by. Discover our other Dicky Birds nurseries in Wimbledon, and Surbiton, where we provide the same exceptional care and Early Years education for your child.
About our Nursery
Curriculum
Our curriculum has been crafted to nurture each child’s unique potential. We embrace elements of the Curiosity Approach, providing a warm, homely environment and high-quality natural resources that stimulate children’s creativity, encourage problem-solving and inspire their imaginations in meaningful ways. Our bespoke educational programmes are integrated into our curriculum to help children grow into confident communicators, independent learners and curious explorers.
Team
Our highly-experienced team are dedicated to helping children feel happy, valued and confident. They work closely with our families to help nurture each child’s development and create tailored learning opportunities which cater to their abilities and interests. Our qualified SENCo ensures that children with SEND receive the individual support they need to thrive.


Parent Partnerships
We pride ourselves on creating strong and supportive partnerships with our families. Through our secure online app, Famly, you’ll receive regular updates and reports on your child’s progress and development, with all the information you need to stay up-to-date on their achievements and areas for growth. We also host nursery events and activities for our families which foster a real sense of community. We truly value our families feedback and use it to continually improve and develop our future service.
Facilities
Our fantastic facilities help support each child’s learning and development by allowing for fun, engaging and educational experiences. We have dedicated areas for arts and crafts, music and movement alongside our all weather outdoor space and lending library. Tasty, nutritious food is prepared daily, support the health and wellbeing of our children.

Activities
Our children spend plenty of time outside in the fresh air. Our bright, spacious garden is well-equipped for adventures in all weathers and our Forest School sessions provide valuable learning opportunities by immersing children in nature. Our extra-curricular activities also include Boogie Mites, Teddy Tennis and Early Years PE.
Each week, we also welcome a specialist games provider who introduces fun, educational activities that help with teamwork, coordination, counting, and sharing. Community Outings
Children enjoy regular outings into the local Raynes Park community which help to further enrich their learning experiences and allow them to safely explore and learn about the exciting world around them.
