About our nursery
Our curriculum
Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and delivered through a curiosity-led approach to learning. Our staff strive to provide high-quality care within a warm, nurturing environment, supporting children as they settle, grow and discover the world around them.
Our aim is to create meaningful learning experiences through play, helping children feel secure, confident and supported as they develop a love of learning from the very start.
Our team
Our experienced team at Pippa’s House Nursery Ash Vale is committed to providing children with high-quality early years care in a warm, stimulating environment. Every team member works closely with families to answer questions, share progress and support each child’s individual development.

Parent partnership
We believe that working closely with families is essential to every child’s success. We love creating opportunities for families to get more involved in nursery life, offering things like Stay & Play Sessions, sports days, breakfast sessions and more.
We also keep caregivers connected through the Grandir UK app, where families receive regular, detailed updates on their child’s day, including the nutritious meals they’ve enjoyed and the activities they’ve taken part in.
Our facilities
Our day nursery Ash Vale offers fun, well-resourced and purpose-designed rooms where little learners feel calm, confident and excited to explore. Each inviting space supports learning, development and those all-important early memories.
Baby room
Our cosy and nurturing baby room is located downstairs in the nursery, offering a warm and secure start to nursery life for our youngest children. Our experienced early years team work closely with families to follow familiar routines and ensure a smooth and reassuring transition into early learning.
Toddler room
Our toddler room offers children a carefully designed space where they enjoy messy play, crafts, loose parts play and sensory activities that support creativity, curiosity and early development.
Preschool room
Our preschool room focuses on supporting children as they prepare for school. Activities encourage independence, early literacy, communication and confidence, helping children feel ready for the next stage of their education.

Our outdoor space
Our outdoor space is thoughtfully designed to support children’s play, exploration and physical development in a safe environment. Children are encouraged to explore through active play, sand and water activities, and nature-based experiences that build confidence, coordination and curiosity as part of everyday nursery life.
Activities
Children enjoy a varied range of activities that support early years learning and development. These include imaginative play, storytime sessions, role play, small-group activities and hands-on experiences that encourage communication, creativity and independence.

At Pippa’s House Nursery Ash Vale, we believe learning extends beyond the nursery setting. Children enjoy frequent community outings within Ash Vale, helping them explore their local area, build confidence and develop an understanding of the world around them.
