Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, Peterborough

Our on-site chef prepares delicious, nutritious food every day, from breakfast club through to lunch, so children have the energy for a full and active day. Our sensory room offers a soothing place to explore or simply settle when things feel too busy, and yoga gives children another gentle way to reset.

Families stay connected through our GrandirUK app, which shares detailed updates, photos and monthly tips. Our lending library, stay-and-play sessions and open-door approach mean parents can be as involved as they want to be, and we are always happy to talk through routines, transitions or anything a child needs extra support with.

Children at Kiddi Caru Peterborough take part in Boogie Mites, yoga, Sing and Sign, music and movement and Make and Bake, all of which support communication, coordination and creativity. We get out regularly too, with visits to local parks, shops, nature areas and a nearby train museum that never fails to be a highlight.

Our Peterborough playrooms cover every stage from babies to preschool, and children transition between them based on readiness rather than age.

Outdoor space

Our garden is full of things worth investigating. There is a pirate ship for adventurous play, a climbing wall and a painted road for imaginative journeys, alongside a dedicated mud pit for hands-on, sensory fun.

Our growing garden teaches children about food from soil to plate, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen means they can cook with what they have picked. Between them these spaces build physical skills, social confidence and a genuine appetite for being outside.

Care here is tailored rather than one-size-fits-all. With SEN-trained colleagues on the team, we can adjust how we support a child according to what they actually need, and families get honest, practical guidance on routines, transitions and any individual requirements.

Ashley leads a large, knowledgeable team at Kiddi Caru Peterborough, including Early Years teachers, Level 3 to 5 practitioners and colleagues trained in Special Educational Needs.
