Curriculum

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), our innovative education programme, Make and Bake, Sow and Grow, Move and Groove, Innovate and Investigate, and Health and Self, offer a well-rounded approach tailored to each child’s individual needs. All of these programs thoroughly prepare children for future learning.

Our team

Our experienced Early Years practitioners create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where every child can thrive. With expertise in child development, they continue to grow through training and by mentoring apprentices. Our experienced team also includes a qualified SENCO, a Forest School leader, a Nursery Manager and a dedicated on-site chef who prepares nutritious meals daily.

Our facilities

Our nursery setting offers a safe and stimulating environment where children can progress through their Early Years journey at their own pace. Our eight bright, airy playrooms are named after local fruits and tailored to each stage of a child’s development.

Peach Room: A cosy space for settling in, sensory play and early learning.

Apple, Blackberry & Plum Rooms: A vibrant space which supports sensory exploration, physical development and communication skills.

Greengage & Cherry Rooms: Encourage independence, emotional regulation and early literacy through letters and sounds.

Strawberry & Damson Rooms: Preschool rooms focused on communication, problem-solving, language, literacy and school readiness.

At our Taunton nursery, children enjoy three gardens thoughtfully designed to support their learning journey. Each vibrant space provides a safe and stimulating environment where children thrive through fun activities, imaginative play, and sensory play.

Our forest school practitioner encourages children to explore the natural world, developing motor skills, social skills, and physical development through outdoor discovery. From mud kitchens to growing vegetables, our gardens spark curiosity and provide endless learning opportunities in a nurturing, home environment.
