Our purpose‑built Plymouth day nursery provides a loving environment where children aged 6 months to 5 years can learn, explore, and thrive. We work closely with families to ensure every child receives the very best start, supporting their development, confidence, and well‑being.

Our nursery is a welcoming, inspiring place filled with creativity, curiosity, and opportunities for discovery. With spacious playrooms, a large outdoor area, and a passionate team, we offer a secure environment where children feel happy, supported, and ready to grow.

We are proud to have achieved a Good Ofsted rating, reflecting our commitment to excellent early years care, strong relationships, and a nurturing environment where children learn through play and meaningful experiences.

Our location

Conveniently located within Langage Business Park, with direct access to the A38, our nursery is ideal for families commuting across Plymouth and wider Devon. Our purpose‑built facility offers a safe, secure setting designed with children in mind, making drop‑off and pick‑up smooth and stress‑free.

About Our Nursery

Our curriculum

Our curriculum supports each child’s educational journey, helping them develop essential skills, confidence, and independence. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and Birth to 5 Matters, ensuring a holistic approach to early childhood development.

We proudly deliver our unique education programmes, Pathway to the Future and Foundations for the Future, which help children explore the natural world, build social skills, and develop strong foundations for school. Through imaginative play, outdoor learning, hands‑on activities, and child‑led discovery, children learn in a fun, enriching environment that ignites curiosity and supports their individual interests.

Our team

Our long‑standing, dedicated team is at the heart of our nursery. Many staff members have been with us for over 10 years, and our nursery manager has been part of our Plympton family for more than 20 years. This consistency helps children feel secure, supported, and understood.

Our team includes Level 6 practitioners, apprentices, and experienced SEND Coordinators who work closely with families to ensure every child receives the support they need. We are passionate about nurturing children’s individual interests and helping them develop the skills they need for school and life.

Parent partnerships

We value strong relationships with families and believe communication is key. Our Grandir UK app keeps parents updated with detailed handovers, photos, daily routines, and activities, helping them feel connected and reassured throughout the day.

We offer story sacks, home learning bags, and a small library area for families to borrow books and enjoy shared reading at home. We also host two parents’ evenings each year to discuss progress and answer any questions. Our annual celebration, whether a garden party, Christmas event, or anniversary celebration, brings families together and strengthens our community.

Our facilities

Our nursery is bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed to support children’s development. Each room is well‑equipped with high‑quality resources and offers a variety of engaging daily activities. Our sensory room provides a calm, quiet space for small group sessions and sensory exploration.

Playrooms

We focus on children’s readiness rather than age when transitioning between rooms, ensuring each child feels confident and supported.

Willow Room – A nurturing baby room offering a calm, secure environment for first experiences.

Cedar, Birch, and Beech Rooms – Designed for young toddlers, with opportunities to explore, develop new skills, and build independence.

Oak and Elm Rooms – For older toddlers, offering creative, stimulating activities that encourage curiosity and confidence.

Preschool Room – A purposeful space preparing children for school, supporting early literacy, numeracy, problem‑solving, and social skills.

This thoughtful approach ensures every child flourishes in a setting tailored to their individual needs.

Outdoor space

Our spacious garden offers grassy areas, soft‑matted zones, and a concrete playground, giving children the freedom to explore outdoors in all weather. We are currently developing an allotment, mud kitchen, and new wooden play equipment to further enhance outdoor learning and imaginative play.

Activities

Children enjoy a wide range of enriching activities including Boogie Mites, Sing & Sign, Yoga, and French. These experiences support communication, physical development, and early learning, helping children grow into confident, curious preschoolers.
