About Our Nursery
Curriculum
We follow In the Moment Planning and the Curiosity Approach, encouraging children to take the lead in their learning. This approach helps extend children’s progression by supporting their interests, building independence, and creating learning experiences that feel meaningful and exciting. Our bespoke educational programmes offer a wide range of opportunities. From yoga and music to nature‑based adventures and creative exploration, children enjoy a curriculum that supports their development across all areas of early years education.

Team
Our dedicated team is the heart of our nursery. Many staff members have been with us for years, bringing a wealth of early years knowledge and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning. With experienced SENCo practitioners on site, we ensure that every child, including those with additional needs, receives the support they deserve. Parents value the warm partnerships we build, the open communication we maintain, and the way our nursery cares for each individual child. Our aim is to create a nurturing environment where children feel confident, happy, and ready to explore.
Parent partnerships
We believe strong partnerships with families help children thrive. Our nursery app keeps parents updated with details about their child’s day, routines, and learning experiences. We also offer a lending library and home learning bags to help families continue learning at home. Throughout the year, we host a range of events from parent breakfasts to school‑leaver celebrations, creating a warm community where families feel supported and involved.
Playrooms
Our nursery offers fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces designed to support each child’s developmental stage. Natural resources, cosy corners, and open‑ended materials create a calm, stimulating environment where children can explore freely and follow their interests. We prioritise personalised transitions, ensuring children move rooms based on readiness rather than age.
Outdoor space
Our nursery boasts fantastic outdoor environments tailored to different age groups. Each garden is designed to spark curiosity and encourage outdoor play, with features such as mud kitchens, tunnels, climbing areas, covered sand play, and outdoor classrooms for nature‑school activities. Our dedicated baby garden includes AstroTurf, a cosy canopy, and age‑appropriate resources, while older children enjoy larger spaces that support independence, physical development, and imaginative adventures.

Activities
Children enjoy a wide range of activities that support their development, including yoga, Make and Bake, Move and Groove, Sow and Grow, and creative exploration inspired by the Curiosity Approach. These experiences help children build confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning.
Community outings
We love exploring our local area. Children enjoy adventures to Caldecotte Lakes, nearby parks, and nature trails, giving them opportunities to connect with the outdoors and experience hands‑on learning beyond the nursery.
