Our location
Our nursery is located in the heart of Knighton, close to Clarendon Park, Leicester train station, and London Road. Families find our location convenient for commuting across Leicester and the surrounding areas.
About Our Nursery
Our curriculum
Our Early Years curriculum offers countless opportunities for children to express creativity, build independence, and develop essential skills. Activities are specifically designed to support communication, physical development, problem‑solving, and early understanding of the world.
We also follow our bespoke educational programmes such as Make & Bake, Innovate & Investigate and Health & Self, which help children build confidence and prepare for school. Children’s safety, well-being and education are at the centre of everything we do.

Our team
Our dedicated team includes long‑serving staff members, many of whom have been with us for over 10 years. This continuity creates a familiar, supportive environment where children feel secure and valued.
All staff are trained in first aid and committed to providing high-quality childcare. They treat each child with kindness and respect, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Parent partnerships
We believe strong parent partnerships are essential. Families receive regular updates through our Grandir UK app, helping them stay connected to their child’s learning and daily routines. This feature helps our families and teams stay consistently on the same page.
We also host seasonal events, celebrations, and Stay and Play sessions, giving families opportunities to spend time together and be part of nursery life.
Our facilities
Our nursery has recently been beautifully refreshed, with bright, modern spaces designed to create a calm, nurturing environment. Soft flooring, neutral tones, and well‑organised areas help children feel comfortable and ready to explore.
Playrooms
Our playrooms support different age groups and early years developmental stages:
Sweet Peas (Babies & Younger Toddlers) – A cosy, nurturing space divided into areas for rest, sensory play, and early exploration. A convenient nappy-changing area is located within the playroom for easy access.
Daisies & Preschool – A versatile open‑plan room with areas for adult‑led and child‑led activities, supporting creativity, independence, and school readiness.
Children transition between rooms based on readiness rather than age, ensuring a supportive and child‑centred process throughout.
Outdoor area
Our outdoor area includes soft lawn, grounded play zones, a sandpit, and large loose‑parts equipment. Children enjoy gardening, balancing, imaginative play, and exploring nature in a safe, stimulating environment that supports physical development and curiosity.

Activities
Children enjoy Sing and Sign sessions, Make and Bake activities, and a variety of creative and sensory experiences that support communication, confidence, and imagination.
Community outings
We enjoy regular outings within the local community, including visits to the nearby fruit and veg shop. These experiences help children learn about healthy eating, explore their surroundings, and understand the world around them.
