With a large on‑site car park, drop‑off and collection are smooth and stress‑free.
About Our Nursery
Our curriculum
Our curriculum is rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring every child receives a rich, play‑based learning experience that supports their development and curiosity. We blend the Curiosity Approach with Reggio Emilia principles to create inspiring, child‑led learning opportunities that encourage children to explore, question, and discover at their own pace.
From imaginative play and outdoor learning to group activities and hands‑on exploration, we nurture confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Our carefully designed spaces and strong partnerships with parents help ensure every child feels supported, inspired, and ready for their next steps.

Our team
We are proud to have a long‑standing, passionate staff team, with some members having been with us for over 20 years. Our practitioners hold a range of qualifications, from Level 2 to fully qualified early years professionals. We also have a dedicated nursery SENCo lead, a qualified Forest School Leader, and eight Designated Safeguarding Officers who are all here to support your child’s journey.
We actively promote continuous professional development, offering training in programmes such as Sing and Sign and Boogie Mites, which bring fun, music, and communication into children’s daily routines. Our team is committed to learning, growing, and providing the best possible care for every child.
Parent partnerships
We believe in open communication and strong relationships with families. Our Grandir UK app keeps parents updated on their child’s day, routines, activities, and key moments. We also host regular stay and play sessions and maintain a vibrant calendar of events, helping families feel connected and involved in their child’s development.
We value every parent’s involvement, knowing it strengthens the bond between home and nursery and supports each child’s progress.
Our facilities
Our nursery offers a warm, supportive environment where every child can grow into a confident learner. Although we are a large nursery, we maintain the personal, homely feel of an independent setting. With small, tailored rooms, we ensure every child receives the individual attention they need to learn, flourish, and feel secure.
Playrooms
We have eight bright, spacious rooms designed to support each stage of a child’s development. Our Snowdrop Room welcomes babies with a calm, nurturing space. Sunflower, Primrose, and Sweetpea provide engaging environments for younger toddlers, while Bracken and Fern support older toddlers as they build independence and confidence. Our Willow and Oak rooms are dedicated to preschool children, offering purposeful activities that prepare them for school through communication, problem‑solving, and early learning experiences.
Each room is thoughtfully arranged with age‑appropriate resources, cosy corners, creative areas, and opportunities for imaginative play and group activities.

Garden
We have three gardens designed to support different age groups. Our baby sensory garden offers gentle, stimulating features that encourage curiosity and discovery. The toddlers’ garden provides more adventurous opportunities for outdoor play, helping children develop motor skills and confidence. Our main garden for older children is a vibrant, spacious area with exciting play equipment, natural features, and plenty of room for imaginative games and outdoor learning.
Activities
Each week is filled with fun, engaging activities including Boogie Mites, Sing and Sign, Make and Bake, and Sow and Grow. These experiences in our nurturing environments spark curiosity, build confidence, and support children’s interests through hands‑on learning.
Community outings
We love exploring the local community. Our regular visits to the nearby care home help children build empathy, social confidence, and meaningful connections through shared activities, storytelling, and creative experiences.
