Pippa’s House Children’s Nursery in Esher is more than a childcare setting, it’s a warm, nurturing community where children feel valued and supported. Flexible arrangements and an open-door policy ensure parents are involved, while our on-site kitchen provides healthy, freshly prepared meals catering to all dietary needs.

Situated at Sandown Racecourse in Esher, our nursery has excellent access for local families and provides plenty of outdoor space for safe exploration and play.

About our nursery

Curriculum and rooms

Our babies

Our Baby Room (3-18 months) offers a nurturing environment where infants feel safe, secure, and supported as they begin their nursery journey. Sensory toys, cosy reading corners, and carefully designed spaces help babies explore at their own pace, with strong communication with parents to maintain routines from home.

Our toddlers

Toddlers (18 months-2 years) are encouraged to explore and learn through purposeful play. Activities include messy play, sensory experiences, and outdoor exploration that build physical coordination, creativity, and confidence. Group interactions foster social skills and imaginative thinking.

Our preschoolers

Preschoolers (2+ years) follow a structured curriculum that develops early literacy, pre-writing skills, and independence. Creative arts and collaborative activities support self-expression and teamwork. Children are encouraged to manage self-care routines, preparing them confidently for school.

Our experienced and passionate staff provide a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for every child. All team members are trained in early years education and are committed to supporting children’s development. The in-house chef prepares nutritious meals to meet all dietary needs.

Our facilities

The nursery occupies two purpose-built buildings with dedicated spaces for under-2s and over-2s, expansive outdoor areas for age-specific play, purpose-built indoor learning spaces, and an on-site Forest School for daily outdoor learning and nature exploration.
