Our Esher nursery features two purpose-built buildings, each carefully designed around the age and stage of the children who use them. From calm, cosy spaces for babies to vibrant rooms for older children, every area has been thoughtfully planned to support learning, play and development.

We aim to provide outstanding childcare in a warm, welcoming home-from-home environment where children feel secure, understood and encouraged to shine.

Families are warmly invited to book a visit, meet our team and experience Pippa’s House Nursery Esher for themselves.

Our location

Our flourishing day nursery is located on a beautiful site within the grounds of Sandown Park Racecourse, ideally positioned for families in Esher, Cobham, Hinchley Wood and the surrounding Surrey area. The setting benefits from open green space while remaining easily accessible, making drop-offs and pick-ups straightforward for families.

About our nursery

Our curriculum

Our enriching curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and takes a curiosity-led approach to learning, encouraging children to explore, ask questions and discover through play. Experiences are thoughtfully planned to support communication, physical development, creativity and early literacy and numeracy skills.

Each member of our friendly and experienced team brings knowledge, care and enthusiasm to their role, working closely with children to understand their individual needs and interests. By building strong relationships and offering consistent support, our team helps children feel safe, happy and confident throughout their time at nursery.

Parent partnership

We believe strong partnerships with families are essential. Our team works closely with families to share information, support transitions and ensure children feel secure both at home and at nursery.

Parents receive real-time updates and messages about their child’s day, activities, care routines and nutritious meals prepared by our onsite chef, via the Grandir UK app, helping them feel involved, informed and confident in their child’s nursery experience.

Our facilities

Each of our spaces has been thoughtfully designed to support children’s learning, development and well-being from the moment they begin their nursery journey through to their final days with us.

Baby room

Our baby room is a calm, nurturing space where babies feel safe, settled and supported. Designed for the earliest stage of development, it offers sensory experiences and gentle routines that encourage curiosity and learning. Additionally, a cosy sleep area allows babies to rest comfortably, while our caring team provides individual attention to meet each child’s needs throughout the day.

Toddler room

Our wonderful toddler room is a bright, engaging and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, play and build independence. Activities such as messy play, soft play, and group games support confidence, social development and early learning.

Preschool room

The preschool room supports children as they prepare for school and the next stage of their education. Through a balance of engaging and child-led activities, children develop communication skills, confidence and a love of learning, while being encouraged to make choices and express independence.

Our Garden

Outdoor learning plays a central role in daily life at Pippa’s House Esher. Children benefit from expansive green grounds that provide daily opportunities for fresh air, movement and exploration.

From climbing, digging and den-building to treasure hunts and storytelling outdoors, experiences are designed to support physical development, resilience, confidence and creativity, while fostering a natural love of nature and play.

Activities

Children enjoy a wide range of engaging educational programme activities throughout their day, including Move & Groove, Make & Bake, and eco-friendly activities like growing their own vegetables via our enriching Sow & Grow programme. Every activity is designed to be fun, purposeful and supportive of each child’s development.

Community outings

We believe learning extends beyond the nursery environment. Carefully planned community outings give children the opportunity to explore their surroundings, practise social skills and build confidence in real-world settings.
