Our experienced nursery team provides outstanding childcare and early years education in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Each key person supports children’s development, building their confidence and preparing them for future learning journeys, such as primary school.

Led by our passionate SENCo and Designated Safeguarding Lead, we ensure every child’s individual needs are met. Working closely with families, our lovely staff create a warm, collaborative atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Parent Partnership

Our dedicated Kiddi Caru nursery Colchester team also works closely with families, ensuring open communication and collaboration every step of the way. Through our nursery app, families receive frequent updates on their child’s day at nursery, ensuring they feel connected and informed. `

Additionally, we offer a food swap area where families can exchange healthy snacks and meals in a dedicated space, promoting a sense of community and shared values.

Alternatively, our book lending library encourages a love for reading, allowing families to explore new stories together – we’re always looking for new ways to support families.

Activities

Our Colchester day nursery offers a variety of enriching activities that support early years learning and build confidence and development. Children enjoy Sing and Sign sessions to build communication skills, PE classes that promote physical activity and teamwork, and exciting new experiences each term to broaden their confidence and cultural awareness.

Community Outings

Whether it’s a stroll to the Wivenhoe trail to spot ducks or a trip to the shops to gather ingredients for our Make and Bake activities, we love including regular community outings in a child’s day. Each outing not only allows the children to engage with the world around them but also encourages curiosity and teamwork as they share these special experiences together.
