Families are warmly invited to contact us, book a visit, meet the team and experience the nursery atmosphere for themselves.
Our location

This helps make drop-offs and pick-ups simple for parents, while offering a secure and welcoming environment for children throughout the nursery day.
About our nursery
Our curriculum
At Pippa’s House Day Nursery Claygate, our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and focuses on learning through play, establishing routines and positive relationships. Children are supported to build confidence, develop key skills and feel secure as they learn and grow within a nurturing environment.
Our team
Our passionate team brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for early years care and education. We’re always looking for ways to improve our practice, building on our skills and knowledge to provide the best possible care and learning experiences for every child.
Working closely with families, our friendly and experienced staff supports smooth transitions, builds strong relationships and helps children develop essential skills for nursery, preschool and beyond. You can always reach out to us with questions or to arrange a visit; our team is always happy to help and support your family.
Parent partnership
Our team works closely with families to share information, support transitions and ensure children feel secure and confident as they learn and grow. Families stay connected through the Grandir UK app, where they receive regular updates on their child’s day, including activities, care routines and our nutritious catering meals, helping parents feel informed, involved and confident in their child’s nursery experience.

Our facilities
Each of our age-specific playrooms is thoughtfully designed to encourage confidence, independence and curiosity, helping children feel secure as they explore and learn.
Baby room
Our baby room provides a secure, calm and caring space where strong relationships are built and gentle routines are established. Sensory toys, music and a cosy reading area support early development, while quiet sleep areas help babies rest comfortably.
Toddler room
Our toddler room offers a lively, home-from-home, stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to play, explore and discover. Messy play, sensory activities and group games support physical development, social skills and early independence, with direct access to outdoor play areas for extended exploration.
Preschool room
Our preschool room supports children as they prepare for school and the next stage of their education. Activities focus on building confidence, communication and early literacy skills, while encouraging independence through choice-led learning and self-care routines. Children are supported to explore the world around them and develop a love of learning in a warm, welcoming space.
Our outdoor space
Our fun outdoor space is carefully designed to support physical development, confidence and active play. Children are encouraged to explore through climbing, balancing, sand and water play, and nature-based experiences that support coordination and well-being as part of everyday nursery life.
Activities
Children enjoy a varied programme of extra-curricular activities that support learning and development across the early years. Activities include lots of imaginative play, engaging storytime sessions, creative arts such as picture painting, group activities like jigsaws, and hands-on experiences, including planting seeds and growing plants.
Through fun, purposeful play across the nursery site, children develop confidence, independence and strong social skills in a stimulating, supportive environment.

Community outings
At Pippa’s House Claygate, children are encouraged to engage with the world beyond the nursery. Carefully planned outings give children the opportunity to experience new places, practise social skills and gain confidence in community settings. These outings help children learn and make sense of the wider community, supporting independence, curiosity and real-world learning in a safe and supportive way.
