About Our Nursery

Curriculum

Our Early Years curriculum blends a range of approaches, including the Curiosity Approach, Loose Parts Play, and Hygge‑inspired learning. These methods encourage children to explore, investigate, and learn through meaningful experiences. We also offer bespoke educational programmes that support communication, creativity, physical development, and well-being. Activities such as music, movement, yoga, and sensory exploration help children build confidence and essential skills for the future.

Our team

Our dedicated team is passionate about providing high‑quality childcare and creating a nurturing environment where children feel valued. Staff members are trained in paediatric first aid and have the knowledge needed to support children with a range of developmental needs. We actively invest in professional development to ensure our team continues to grow in their practice, offering children the best possible early years experiences.

Parent partnerships

We believe strong parent partnerships are key to supporting children’s development. Families receive regular updates through our Grandir UK app, helping them stay connected to their child’s learning and daily routines. We also host Stay and Play sessions, consultation days, sing‑alongs, and family events that bring our community together and give parents opportunities to be part of nursery life.

Playrooms

Our nursery features five bright and welcoming rooms, a cosy library, and a sensory room for calming and creative experiences. Children move between rooms based on their individual readiness, ensuring a personalised approach. From our nurturing baby room to engaging toddler spaces and a preschool environment focused on school readiness, every room provides a safe, stimulating place where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Outdoor space

Our outdoor area is accessible throughout the day and includes a covered outdoor classroom for older children. This space allows children to enjoy fresh air, nature, and active play in all weather, supporting physical development and confidence.

Children enjoy a wide range of beneficial activities, including: Move and Groove, Sing and Sign, Yoga, Make and Bake and Music and movement sessions. These experiences help children express themselves, build physical skills, and enjoy learning through play.

We love exploring our local community. Children enjoy nature walks, bug hunts, and trips to gather ingredients for cooking activities. We also visit local venues, including occasional theatre trips, giving children memorable experiences that spark imagination and curiosity.
