Welcome to our nursery!
The Wishing Tree Children’s Nursery is situated in Brighton, East Sussex. It has a home-from-home feel with a large secure garden, set in a former family home next to Withdean Park. Easily accessed from the A23 or A27 in the northern suburbs of Brighton and close to bus and train links.

Meet the manager

Mia Slaughter
Nursery Manager
Mia has worked in early years childcare and education since 2008 and has a passionate approach to children’s learning and development. She achieved her BTEC level 3 in childcare as well as studying child development in school. She started her journey as a student at the Wishing Tree and worked her way up to management, where she has 5 years experience. She holds a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sector and has successfully managed the Wishing Tree alongside Bridget Kyffin-Walton.

Stefan began working for Grandir UK in 2021 and has since worked his way up to a Deputy Manager position. Stefan is very passionate about early years and takes pride everything he does, especially when it comes to helping children to learn and grow!
