Nursery Manager

Anerley Day Nursery and Preschool provides exceptional Early Years childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years. We offer a fun, energetic and loving environment that nurtures each child’s holistic development.

We are proud to have been awarded a ‘Good’ Ofsted Rating which reflects our commitment to high-quality Early Years education and helping children to build the social and emotional foundations they need to thrive.

Our location

We are located in Schoolkeepers House, next door to Anerley Town Hall and Business Centre, with off-street parking. Anerley Train Station is across the road from us and Anerley Bus Station is only a 2-3 minute walk away, making our setting easily accessible for families in the nearby London area.

About our Anerley Day Nursery and Preschool

Curriculum

We deliver a broad curriculum to our children that loosely follows the Curiosity Approach. Our bespoke educational programmes, Health & Self, Make & Bake, Innovate & Investigate, Move & Groove, and Sow & Grow, have been skilfully integrated to help structure children’s learning in a fun and engaging way, while remaining true to our core approach of encouraging curiosity and exploration.

Our Team

Our longstanding team of passionate nursery staff are united in their mission to support and nurture each child’s development, helping them to learn and grow every day. We are proud to have a qualified SENCo within our team to help ensure children with SEND are able to reach their full potential.

Parent Partnership

We place high value on developing close relationships with our families. The Famly app gives parents daily updates, photos, and an easy method of communication so they stay informed and involved in their child’s learning journey. We host coffee mornings where our families can get to know each other and regular stay and play sessions where you can enjoy fun activities with your child.

Facilities

We have four spacious playrooms, beginning with the soft and cosy Nurturers which is specifically designed for our babies. Adventurers and Explorers house our younger and older toddlers respectively, both filled with stimulating, high-quality resources to spark their curiosity and encourage exploration. Leaders is our preschool room with a focus on school readiness, helping to build children’s confidence and independence as they prepare for the next exciting chapter. We also have a lovely courtyard garden which is divided into three sections, each featuring canopies and shelters, allowing children to enjoy the space year-round.

Activities

Children enjoy a wide variety of exciting activities each day which support their development through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. In line with our unique education programmes, children take part in fun activities like cooking with our in-house nursery chef, science and technology experiments, gardening and active physical sessions like Boogie Mites full of music, movement and dance.

Community Outings

Our excellent location close to the town centre allows us to enjoy regular outings with the children. We visit a diverse range of local places, including the nearby park which we go to as often possible! Our outings support the themes we are working on with our children, and enable us to enhance their learning as part of our structured curriculum.
