Children’s wellbeing is considered throughout the nursery day at Great Park Road. Our calm and welcoming environment is set across a single level, with each room opening directly onto its own garden, helping to make outdoor experiences a natural part of the day.
Mealtimes are another important part of children’s daily routines, with balanced menus providing a varied range of meals and snacks throughout their time at nursery.
Staying connected with families is important to us. Through the GrandirUK App, families receive regular updates about their child’s activities, progress, meals and daily experiences, helping them stay involved with nursery life.
Our lending library also offers a wide selection of books and story bags for families to enjoy at home, providing opportunities to share stories and continue enjoying books together beyond the nursery day.
Children at Kiddi Caru Great Park Road enjoy a varied mix of experiences, including Sing and Sign and Boogie Mites, bringing music, movement and opportunities for communication into the nursery week in ways that children of different ages can enjoy.
Alongside these sessions, children have opportunities to express themselves through creative activities and explore the natural world across our four gardens, making outdoor discovery an important part of nursery life.
Our bright and spacious nursery is set across a single level, with open-plan rooms designed around the different ages and stages of children’s development. Each room is equipped with age-appropriate resources and has direct access to its own dedicated garden, helping to make outdoor experiences a natural part of the nursery day.
Resources are positioned so children can access and explore them, with plenty of space for independent play, shared experiences and different types of learning. The calm and welcoming environment gives children time and space to explore at their own pace, supported by practitioners who know their individual needs and interests.
Outdoor space
We have four dedicated gardens, each designed with a different age and stage in mind. Our youngest children have their own space to begin exploring the outdoors, while older children have opportunities for more active play, including running, climbing and age-appropriate physical challenges.
Having different outdoor environments means the spaces can evolve with children as they grow, providing opportunities for movement, sensory exploration, imaginative play and discovering the natural world throughout the year.
A spacious onsite car park also helps make daily drop-offs and collections easier for families.
Quality of care at Kiddi Caru Great Park Road starts with helping each child become familiar with nursery life at their own pace. Our team take time to understand individual routines, preferences and needs, providing consistency and reassurance as children get to know their new environment.
Calm, welcoming rooms and familiar daily routines help create a consistent nursery experience, while regular communication with families helps us work together throughout the settling-in period and beyond.
Our play-led curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), drawing on elements of Hygge and the Curiosity Approach to create engaging opportunities for children to explore, investigate and follow their interests.
Our education programmes, which consists of Health & Self, Innovate & Investigate, Move & Groove, Make & Bake and Sow & Grow, introduce children to a varied range of experiences across the nursery day, supporting their learning and development as they progress towards their next stage.
At Great Park Road, we create a warm and welcoming environment where children have time and space to explore at their own pace. Our approach draws on Hygge and the Curiosity Approach, combining calm, thoughtfully designed spaces with interesting resources and experiences that invite children to investigate and discover.
Children are encouraged to follow their interests, make choices and explore their own ideas, with practitioners on hand to support and extend their learning as it develops.
For families with more than one child, having siblings at our Bradley Stoke nursery means one drop-off and pick-up, while each child can enjoy the room, experiences and friendships suited to their own age and stage.
With the nursery arranged across a single level, brothers and sisters may be based in nearby rooms, with opportunities to see each other and share parts of nursery life. Ample onsite parking also helps make daily drop-offs and collections easier for families.
Sibling places are subject to availability, but where we have space in the appropriate room, we will always look at the options for welcoming brothers and sisters together.
Led by Nursery Manager Angie, our Great Park Road team brings a range of Early Years knowledge and experience to the nursery, with practitioners focused on getting to know and supporting each child as an individual.
Ongoing professional development is an important part of our approach, helping practitioners at every level to continue developing their knowledge and skills and keep their Early Years practice up to date.
