Our unique, purpose-built setting was designed with exceptional early years childcare in mind. Children aged 3 months to 5 years thrive in our warm, welcoming and stimulating environment which is brought to life by our dedicated team.
We are proud to have achieved a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted, which showcases our commitment to helping all children reach their full potential and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.

Our location
We are situated in the heart of West Finchley, within the Riverside Quarter, offering easy access to the underground, overground, and riverboat services. Located just a short distance from North Finchley High Street and some of the best parks in the area, our nursery is perfectly positioned for local families.

Curriculum
We provide a rich and engaging curriculum which is thoughtfully tailored to each child’s unique learning style and developmental stage. Our unique education programmes, Health & Self, Innovate & Investigate, Move & Groove, Make & Bake, and Sow & Grow, help children become confident, independent learners who are equipped with the positive life skills and important knowledge they need for success at school.

This collaborative spirit not only enhances our team’s professional growth, but also ensures that every child receives the best care and early years education possible.
Parent Partnerships
We believe that strong partnerships with parents are essential for creating a supportive and welcoming environment. We utilise the Famly app to keep our families connected, sharing exciting updates, progress reports and photos each day. Throughout the year, we also invite parents to join us for special events, festivals, and activities, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Facilities
Our modern, purpose-built nursery features four large rooms which have been thoughtfully designed to foster growth and development for each age group. The vibrant visual arts studio provides a dedicated space for children to express their creativity and our sensory room is a haven of calm where children can unwind whilst stimulating their senses. To aid in children’s physical development and mental wellbeing, we spend plenty of time in our lovely outdoor space which is an ideal environment for exploration and discovery.
Activities
We offer a diverse variety of activities that engage and stimulate children in exciting ways including Spanish lessons, calming yoga and time in our dedicated visual arts studio. In addition to these structured activities, children have plenty of time for imaginative play using our high-quality resources to explore their interests, indulge their curiosity and develop essential skills to support future learning.
Outings
Children at West Finchley Day Nursery enjoy regular outings into the local area. Visits to the local library, nearby parks and other exciting locations allow children to safely explore their community whilst developing their confidence and real world knowledge.
