About our nursery

Our approach

We’ll support everything from your child’s physical development to their confidence, creativity and social skills, helping them build positive foundations for their future through engaging activities. Through fun play and meaningful experiences, children will develop important skills including early literacy, independence and social development and we’ll keep children’s interests nurtured throughout.

At North Star Day Nursery, we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn and develop in an environment where they feel happy, secure and valued. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage, our approach focuses on supporting children’s individual development and helping them feel settled as they begin their nursery journey.

Working with families

Our whole Welwyn nursery team including your child’s key person, will build strong bonds and work closely with families to fully understand each child’s individual needs, helping them feel settled and supported throughout their early years. We know that starting nursery is a big step, and we’ll support families and children through this transition.
