Our team
We are proud of our dedicated staff, we have a fantastic hands on team, some of our staff have been with us for over 20 years! Our parents love watching the staff interactions with the children, the dedication and passion is evident in all they do. The Ryan House team is passionate about children and childcare and provide the best education to the children.
Parent Communication
The happiness of our parents and children are important to our team at Ryan House. We are committed to communicating with parents and providing children’s learning. Ryan House offers regular events for parents including drop in sessions, stay and play sessions, as well as special events and talks for specific topics such as self regulation, potty training and information evenings on the curriculum.
Outdoor Space
We have a newly refurbished garden and are fortunate to have access to the cricket pavilion just across the road, which provides us with even more opportunities for physical activities and outdoor play.
Great Community Relationships
Ryan House Day Nursery has for many years, had an excellent reputation within the Rushcliffe and surrounding areas. With regular outings and visits within the local community. We love to visit our local care home, local restaurants, the pantomime, along with many other exciting adventures.
Forest School Sessions
Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers children opportunities for holistic growth through regular outdoor sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural outdoor setting.
Transport
The Rushcliffe family of day nurseries in Nottingham (Ryan House, Radcliffe-on-Trent and Ruddington) own a mini bus between them. The mini bus is used to transport children to different outings within the community meaning they can travel a little further afield to some special destinations. The mini bus is also used to transport the Ryan House children to Forest School at Ruddington Day Nursery which has a qualified Forest School teacher. The minibus will pick up our children and transport them to Ruddington, which is easily accessible from our nursery.
Special Educational Needs
Our nursery has a qualified SENCO teacher who’s responsible for leading the school’s provision for special educational needs and support children should they require any special needs assistance.

Kelly has worked within the childcare sector since 2001. Kelly gained her Level 3 qualification in 2002 and gained the Early Years professional status in 2012. With over 23 years of experience Kelly has gained a wealth of experience throughout the years, working in day nurseries, starting as an apprentice, and working her way up to become a manager. Kelly is passionate about ensuring all children develop to their full potential from birth, within a caring, nurturing, diverse and inclusive setting.
