About our Nursery

Curriculum

Our curriculum includes key education programmes such as Health and Self, Innovate and Investigate, Move and Groove, Make and Bake, and Sow and Grow. Each programme focuses on different aspects of Early Years development, encouraging children to explore their interests and learn through play.

We also incorporate Forest School Sessions into our Curriculum. These sessions are a child-centred learning process, that offers children opportunities for holistic growth through regular outdoor sessions. Ultimately these sessions help build children’s confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural outdoor setting.

Team

At Ryan House, our dedicated staff is the heart of our West Bridgford nursery, creating a great nursery experience for all the children in our care. We take pride in our fantastic hands-on team, who put children’s well-being at forefront of what they do. The Ryan House team is deeply passionate about childcare and is committed to delivering the best education for preschoolers, helping them thrive and develop in a nurturing setting. Our nursery has a qualified SENCO teacher who’s responsible for leading the schools provision for special educational needs and supports children should they require any special needs.

Parent Partnership

The happiness of our families and children are important to our team at Ryan House. Through our nursery app, we keep families connected by providing regular updates on their child’s day.

Ryan House also offers regular events for families including drop in sessions, stay and play sessions, as well as special events and talks for specific topics such as self regulation, potty training and information evenings on the curriculum.

We have a range of amazing facilities aimed to enhance children’s learning experience. These range from our bright expansive playrooms to our interactive outdoor space.

Playrooms

Our bright and spacious playrooms provide the best environment for children to maximise their creativity. These rooms are well-resourced and stimulating making children’s learning journeys more efficient and exciting.

Outdoor Space

We have a newly refurbished garden and are fortunate to have direct access to the local cricket pavilion nearby, which provides us with even more opportunities for physical activities and outdoor play.

Activities

We incorporate a selection of fun and stimulating activities into the day which help aid children’s development. These include painting sessions, reading time, games and more!

Community Outings

Ryan House Day Nursery has for many years, had an excellent reputation within the Rushcliffe and surrounding areas. With regular outings and visits within the local community. We love to visit our local care home, local restaurants, the pantomime, along with many other exciting adventures.
