Ryan House Day Nursery and Preschool in West Bridgford, Nottingham is a wonderful nursery providing high‑quality Early Years education and childcare for children aged from 3 months to 4 years.

We offer full day care and flexible sessions in a warm, nurturing environment where children learn through play, exploration and hands‑on experiences. Our child‑led approach supports every child’s confidence, independence and self‑esteem, helping them develop the skills they need for school and for life. Parents regularly tell us their child absolutely loves coming to nursery and that choosing Ryan House was the best decision for their family.

Ryan House is a special place where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to explore the world around them. Our nursery offers a calm, friendly atmosphere with a real focus on building strong relationships between children, parents and all the staff. We genuinely care about every child and take pride in supporting their individual journey, from babies through toddlerhood and into preschool.

About our Nursery

Curriculum

Our Early Years curriculum is designed to support children’s learning across all areas of development, helping them build physical skills, confidence and independence. Children learn through play, discovery and meaningful experiences that reflect their interests and stage of development.

Our curriculum includes a range of education programmes such as Health and Self, Innovate and Investigate, Move and Groove, Make and Bake, and Sow and Grow. These experiences encourage children to explore, create, problem‑solve and develop a love of learning.

Forest School Sessions are also an important part of life at Ryan House. These regular outdoor experiences allow children to discover nature, build resilience and develop self‑esteem through hands‑on learning in a natural outdoor setting.

Team

Our experienced and dedicated team is at the heart of Ryan House Day Nursery. All staff are passionate about Early Years education and committed to helping every child reach their full potential. Children are supported by familiar, caring adults who understand their needs and celebrate their achievements. We also have a qualified SENCO, ensuring children who need additional support are fully supported within our inclusive and nurturing nursery environment.

Parent Partnerships

Strong parent partnerships are central to our nursery life. We provide regular updates through our nursery app so families can stay connected with their child’s day, development and achievements. Parents are also invited to take part in stay and play sessions, drop‑in events and information evenings covering topics such as self‑regulation, potty training and our curriculum.

Playrooms

We have a range of amazing facilities aimed to enhance children’s learning experience. These range from our bright expansive playrooms to our interactive outdoor space. Our bright and spacious playrooms provide the best environment for children to maximise their creativity. These rooms are well-resourced and stimulating making children’s learning journeys more efficient and exciting.

Outdoor Space

We have a newly refurbished garden and are fortunate to have direct access to the local cricket ground nearby, which provides us with even more opportunities for physical activities and outdoor play.

Community Outings

Ryan House Day Nursery has for many years, had an excellent reputation within the Rushcliffe and surrounding areas. With regular outings and visits within the local community. We love to visit our local care home, local restaurants, the pantomime, along with many other exciting adventures.
