Our dedicated staff includes a variety of qualifications, ranging from Level 2 to Level 6, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for your child.

We also have team members pursuing further education to enhance their skills, and we are proud to have a qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) on board, committed to supporting every child’s unique needs.

We encourage our staff to progress and achieve their personal goals, nurturing a positive and supportive community.

We love staying connected with you through our nursery app, where we share delightful photos and updates about your child’s adventures each day, making you feel right there with us.

To spark a love for reading, we invite families to take part in our ‘Book for Bedtime‘ initiative at the nursery entrance, where you can borrow stories to enjoy together at home.

Plus, we host a variety of fun nursery events throughout the year, providing wonderful opportunities for you to engage with our community and celebrate your child’s journey with us.

Playrooms

At Kiddi Caru Day Nursery all the rooms offer a nurturing environment tailored to the unique needs of each child, allowing children to transition between rooms based on their readiness, ensuring they receive the right support and challenges for their development.

Swan Room: Our babies, starting from just 3 months, are welcomed into the Swan Room. This cosy space features direct access to their own outdoor area, allowing them to explore the outdoors and nature right from their room.

Teal Room: As children grow and become confident walkers, they transition to the Teal Room. This space also offers a lovely garden area for outdoor play, encouraging each toddler to develop their independence while having fun.

Geese Room: Designed for our younger toddlers, the Geese Room is spacious and inviting, with a comfy corner for relaxation and a creative mess construction side for hands-on activities. The children enjoy direct access to the garden from their playroom, encouraging a love for outdoor exploration.

Mandarin and Carolina Rooms: Our two rooms for our older toddlers are both situated upstairs. Each room is equipped with a variety of loose parts for open-ended play, a role-play area for imaginative adventures, and a messy table for those creative projects.

Preschool Room: Our vibrant Preschool Room is located at the back of the nursery. The preschool room includes an array of engaging learning activities, as well as a self-service food area and washing-up station, promoting independence and responsibility. Here, the children can enjoy a dedicated playdough-making station where they create fresh dough every day.

Outside, the older children have a spacious area with natural grass, wood chips, and AstroTurf for endless outdoor fun.

Garden

Our garden is thoughtfully divided into spacious sections, offering children access to vibrant Astroturf areas, a natural grass space, and a fun mud kitchen.

There’s also an outdoor classroom for learning and discovery, along with an allotment where the children can nurture and grow their own fruits and vegetables.

Activities

We love making every day an adventure! Our younger children delight in engaging Sing and Sign sessions, while the older ones groove along in our fun Boogie Mites activities.

The children absolutely love spending time in our sensory room, especially with the magical bubble tube that captures their imagination.

Our talented chef also adds to the excitement by joining the children for delightful baking sessions, where they can create tasty treats together.

Our arts and crafts classes is another favourite! Many children find joy in expressing themselves through painting and drawing alongside their friends.

And let’s not forget the thrill of watching our strawberries grow in the allotment, it’s a wonderful way for the children to connect with nature, learn about the world around them and flourish in our care.

At our nursery, every activity is designed to nurture their creativity, friendships, and love for learning!

Community Outings

We understand that learning goes beyond the classroom, and our regular community outings offer wonderful opportunities for exploration and growth.

The children frequently visit a local play area, where they can engage in outdoor activities and build friendships. They also enjoy trips to the pet shop, where they can observe various animals and learn about their care.

One of their favourite excursions is to Tesco, where they excitedly select ingredients for their cooking activities, promoting teamwork and healthy eating habits.

These outings enrich their experiences and help them feel more connected to the community!
