Nestled on Coronation Road Downend, our nursery is located on a quiet street surrounded by friendly neighbours, creating a peaceful atmosphere. A clear sign at our gates makes us easy to find, while our calm setting provides the perfect environment for children to learn, play, and thrive.
With excellent transport links, we’re convenient for families travelling from Staple Hill, Barley Close, Mangotsfield, Fishponds, and Emersons Green across South Gloucestershire.

Curriculum
Our Early Years curriculum supports every stage of development, from babies to preschoolers. Using the Pathways and Foundations of the Future framework, we help children develop confidence, independence, and social skills within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Through our educational programmes, Health & Self, Innovate & Investigate, Move & Groove, Make & Bake, and Sow & Grow, children explore, create, and stay active while developing a lifelong love of learning.

Parent Partnerships
Maintaining open communication and a strong partnership with our families is an aspect we prioritise. We love to involve families in a range of activities at our nursery, regularly hosting events such as parents’ evenings, graduations and seasonal celebrations.
Families also have access to the Nursery App, where they will receive regular updates on their child’s day, from the nutritious meals they eat to the activities they participate in. Our facilities
With a homely, cosy, and caring setting, our nursery on Coronation Road, is the ideal space for your child to grow and develop. We have a dedicated drop-off and pick-up zone in front of our nursery, making mornings and evenings that little bit easier. Our classes
We offer age-appropriate playrooms and high-quality resources that support every stage of early years development.
Our Hedgehogs baby room provides a calm, nurturing space for babies and toddlers up to 24 months, with free-flow access to the garden for outdoor exploration.
In our Squirrels room, our older toddlers build confidence and new skills through fun, child-led learning.
Our Badgers preschool room offers a spacious, imagination-filled area with access to a large garden, encouraging independence, physical development, and school readiness.
Children move between rooms when they’re ready, ensuring smooth, supportive transitions and a consistent sense of care and belonging throughout their nursery journey.
Garden
Children enjoy three outdoor spaces connected to our playrooms, offering endless opportunities for exploration and learning.
Our baby garden features age-appropriate toys and a play kitchen that inspires imagination and social play, with fresh resources available throughout the day.
The preschool garden includes a water play area, a large sand tray, and a growing bench, where children help care for flowers and plants, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love for the natural world.
Activities
Children take part in a variety of physical activities, including yoga and sports. These sessions build strength, coordination, and confidence while supporting both body and mind. Yoga encourages focus and mindfulness, while sports promote teamwork and a love of movement, helping children stay active, happy, and healthy through play and exploration.
Regular Outings
We believe regular outings are essential to a child’s learning. We take children to local destinations like the park, where they enjoy fresh air, open play, and develop physical skills. We also visit the library to explore new stories and spark their imagination.
