Curriculum

Our nursery embraces the child-centred approach, the Curiosity Approach, encouraging child-led learning and hands-on exploration. Alongside this, our unique education programmes, Pathways and Foundations for the Future are designed to offer themed activities that nurture creativity, confidence and well-being, helping them reach their full potential. These include Make & Bake, Move & Groove, Innovate & Investigate, Sow & Grow and Health and Self, developing key life skills, curiosity and a love for learning throughout their Early Years journey.

Team

Our dedicated Kiddi Caru team provides high-quality care and education, with each child supported by a key worker who offers personalised care and builds strong, trusting bonds. Our experienced SENCo team ensures every child’s individual needs are met with attention and understanding, creating an inclusive environment where all children can thrive. Passionate about children’s development, many of our team members have been with us for over a decade, helping to create a nurturing, fun and supportive space where every child can grow, learn and flourish.

Facilities

Our lovely day nursery is spread over two welcoming floors, offering well-resourced, bright and airy playrooms and easy access to our lovely outdoor space, providing a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and confident to explore at their own pace.

Our playrooms are designed to support every stage of a child’s journey, with smooth transitions when they’re ready. The baby room on the second floor provides a warm, nurturing space for babies under two, featuring high-quality resources and dedicated key worker support. Toddlers and preschool room is a large, open-plan playroom on the first floor with age-appropriate areas that encourage learning, confidence and imaginative play. Flooded with natural light, our day nursery offers the ideal environment for children to explore, develop and thrive.

Our nursery offers two fantastic outdoor spaces designed to inspire play and learning. The toddler room opens onto a safe, AstroTurf courtyard for free-flow outdoor play, while preschool children enjoy a large garden that stretches behind the building. With beautiful views of Troopers Hill Nature Reserve, our outdoor environments provide the perfect setting for children to explore nature, stay active and have fun in the fresh air.
