Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, Webbs Wood Road, Bradley Stoke

The Hygge approach shapes how our Bradley Stoke nursery feels day to day: warm, calming and genuinely home-from-home. Food matters to us as part of that: we serve tasty, nutritious meals and treat mealtimes as an important part of a child’s education, not just a break between activities.

We keep communication with families clear and regular through the GrandirUK app, sharing daily activities, the meals children have enjoyed, nursery news and upcoming events. Our open-door policy, stay-and-play sessions, lending library and special events all give families ways to be part of nursery life and to meet each other.

Sing and Sign, Make and Bake and Sow and Grow sessions keep children active and learning at Webbs Wood Road. We also have access to buggy buses, which means our youngest children come along on regular outings around Bradley Stoke, with trips to the local park and visits to the library to borrow books a regular fixture.

Our premises on Webbs Wood Road are new and refurbished, with thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces that let children settle quickly and get curious. The nursery is arranged around two well-resourced playrooms.

• Acorn Room: Our baby room for under twos, a spacious, safe environment to crawl, explore and develop physical skills, with direct access to a large garden.
• Oak Room: Our warm, cosy room for children aged two and above, with a free-flow outdoor area and high-quality resources.

Both rooms are equipped with age-appropriate resources chosen to support learning, development and imaginative play, and the free-flow layout means children decide for themselves when to head outdoors.

Outdoor space

Getting outside every day is essential to how children develop, and we have made room for it. Our baby garden is a charming little space where our youngest children can explore natural wonders, filled with colourful blooms and soft grass perfect for tiny toes.

As an Eco School with a growing garden, we give children a hand in tending what grows here across the seasons. There is free on-site parking too, which makes the daily routine that bit smoother.

High-quality childcare here is a mix of fun activities, plenty of outdoor play and learning experiences that hold children’s attention. Being purpose-built means our spaces were designed around children from the start, and that shows in how easily they settle in.

Our curriculum delivers a rich Early Years Foundation Stage programme, designed to nurture every aspect of a child’s development. It includes a range of bespoke GrandirUK education programmes that spark curiosity and creativity, and give children the confidence and independence they need for school.

We believe a nursery should feel like somewhere you want to be. Our Webbs Wood Road premises follow the Hygge philosophy, warm and calming rather than busy and bright, and as an Eco-School we give children real responsibility for the growing garden. Children who feel at ease ask better questions.

With just two rooms at Webbs Wood Road, an older sibling in Oak can hear their baby brother or sister nearby in Acorns, and the team know both children by name within a week. One car park, one door. Space in a two-room nursery is limited, so do ask early and we will tell you honestly what we can offer.

Under Angie, our Nursery Manager, the Webbs Wood Road team are passionate Early Years practitioners, experienced in the Early Years Foundation Stage and dedicated to making this a warm and welcoming place. Our SENCo supports children who need something extra, and every colleague plays a part in helping children thrive.
