Our lovely, purpose-built Kiddi Caru Nursery Basingstoke provides premium childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
We are proud to have received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted in our latest inspection report. It highlights our safe, inclusive and stimulating environment that supports children’s learning and development.

Our location
We are situated at the heart of the Beggarwood and Hatch Warren community with easy access to the nearby Beggarwood Park. With on-site parking and bus stops close by, our nursery has excellent connections to Basingstoke Town Centre and Basingstoke Train Station making drop-offs and pick-ups simple for working families.

Our curriculum
Our child-centred curriculum focuses on building essential life skills with an emphasis on communication, independence, and emotional development. We blend elements of the Hygge Hygge Approach in our younger rooms together with the Curiosity Approach to promote exploration and a love for learning. Each age group receives tailored activities to support their unique developmental needs and prepare them for future success in their school life.
Our team
We have a dedicated team of amazing staff who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our nursery school. We pride ourselves on our commitment to early years education, for example our baby room team having completed baby-specific training to ensure a high-quality provision. Our qualified SENCo helps ensure every child’s individual needs are met with care and understanding. We also have our in-house chef who prepares fresh, delicious food to help fuel our little learners, catering for all dietary requirements and food allergies.
Parent partnerships
We value strong partnerships with our families and believe open, confident communication is key. Our supportive team always willing to talk through any questions or queries our families may have. Parents receive thorough feedback and updates on their child’s day, including photos and activity reports, throughout the week from their child’s key worker and our Famly app. We also host special events like Parents Information Evenings and celebrations for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, making it easy for families to engage with their child’s development.
Facilities
Our bright, welcoming nursery offers spacious playrooms which are specifically tailored to each age group. Children enjoy a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment during each play session which helps ensure a smooth transition into the day. Our extensive outdoor area, which features three garden spaces, features plenty of room for fun outdoor learning activities and equipment to help children with their physical development.
Activities
All the staff at Kiddi Caru Basingstoke provide a range of exciting activities that cater to different interests and developmental stages, from our littlest learners who’ve just started nursery to our naturally curious preschoolers. Children enjoy calming yoga sessions, music and movement classes like Boogie Mites and French lessons to support language development. Our activities promote key skills through fun, hands-on experiences that our children absolutely love.
Community Outings
We take the children on regular outings to explore their local area. Our children enjoy nature walks and visits to the local park where they can connect with the environment. We also have a lovely relationship with a local care home, creating intergenerational connections that enrich the lives of both children and the residents, as they become friends and encourage each other to develop new skills.
