We are thrilled to announce that the Kingsmead nursery in Winchester, Hampshire has joined the Grandir UK family in June 2024!

This marks another step in our growth across the Southeast of England, and we’re excited to bring our outstanding childcare to even more families.

A Bit About Kingsmead Day Nursery

Kingsmead Day Nursery has been a beloved fixture in the Winchester community since its opening in 1989 by former owner Helen Gaskell.

Originally located in a charming Victorian house on the other side of the city, the nursery moved to its current home in Gordon House in December 2010. This relocation allowed Kingsmead Day Nursery to continue providing exceptional care and education in a more modern and spacious setting.

The nursery school offers 60 childcare places and is known for its warm, nurturing environment where children aged 0-5 can celebrate, explore and learn.

Kingsmead Day Nursery’s excellent reputation is a testament to the dedication and hard work Helen and her team has provided parents over the years.

Grandir UK was founded in 1998 and we are, and always have been, committed to delivering outstanding childcare to families with babies, toddlers and preschool children.

We help early years children see the awe and wonder in the world in our safe, supportive, and stimulating nurseries, ensuring each and every child has the very best opportunity to grow and develop!

Kingsmead Day Nursery & Preschool is a perfect fit for Grandir UK, and we are looking forward to combine our knowledge, early years curriculum and high quality childcare as we integrate Kingsmead into the Grandir UK family.
