Kiddi Caru Rushden Create An Obstacle Course

During these important early years, it is important to develop the children’s muscles and gross motor skills. A really fun way to do this is by building obstacle courses! At Kiddi Caru Rushden we are very lucky to have a large outside space to do this in. So, the team set up an obstacle course in the garden which the children loved.

The little ones got involved constructing the course and discussed what should be included. They worked fantastically together, asking each other for help and discussing their ideas. We spoke about making sure it was safe, risk assessing as we went along. They cheered each other on and high-fived when they finished.
