Kiddi Caru Matford Welcome Giant Snails

Giant African Land Snails visit the children at Kiddi Caru in Matford!

The children discovered lots of interesting facts about the snails; they can grow up to 20 cm in length, lettuce and cucumber are their favourite things to eat and they are most active during the night. Some children were keen to hold the snails, describing how they felt on their hands. And the staff team discussed the important of hygiene and washing your hands after handling them.
