Kiddi Caru Caldecotte Bonfire Night 2021

Spray painting and bright pattern making onto sheets at our Caldecotte nursery. All to represent the fireworks for Guy Fawkes Night.

The preschoolers had so much fun using sparklers in the garden in the evening. Waiting until it grew dark, they discussed safety when using the sparklers and the importance of how to keep safe at this time. The children used carrots to hold onto, which helped keep themselves safe and their sparklers at arms length. They had a wonderful talk about the different patterns they could create with the sparklers, using words to describe these such as ‘bright’, ‘whizzing’ and ‘magic’.
