While they wished everyone a Happy Halloween, Bedford had a mons-terrific time over the half term.
The nursery chefs Pablo and Diana devised a special menu for the day consisting of “eyeball” meatballs with spaghetti and ghost muffins for lunch. Snacks consisted of ghostly sandwiches. They even had afternoon tea, with finger hot dogs and Halloween biscuits which the children decorated themselves for dessert.
The preschool children sat and listened to the story “Funny Bones” and this prompted lots of activities with connecting their own toy skeleton back together being a firm favourite. The little ones enjoyed using pumpkin pulp to make their own spells and pumpkin pies.
