Grandir UK is now part of The 5% club!

We are thrilled to announce that Grandir UK has now joined The 5% Club to help strengthen the recruitment of apprentices and graduates in the childcare industry.

What is The 5% Club?

The 5% Club is an initiative that is made up of over 1,000 employers dedicated to offering ‘earn and learn’ opportunities to help individuals develop essential skills for employability and meaningful careers.

Companies that join the 5% Club pledge to increase the number of apprentices, sponsored students, and graduates in formal programs to 5% of their workforce within five years, of which their progress is publicly reported annually.

Founded in 2013, The 5% Club leverages its platform and success record to engage with policymakers and influencers, raising awareness and promoting initiatives that link skills investment to tangible social impact.

To become a member, every organisation needs to have at least 5% of their total workforce employed on an apprenticeship or learner programme.

How will this help Grandir UK?

The 5% club is a kite mark of quality and responsibility. This accreditation indicates that we take care of our employees and invest sustainably in our people’s skills for future.

Becoming a 5% Club member, brings Grandir UK one step closer to our goals for 2024! Each year, we set years goals centred around People, Quality and Performance.

This accreditation will help us achieve our goals centred around our people strategy by employing and nurturing the very best within our organisation.

As The 5% Club works on a tier system, we are working hard to obtain the Gold tier in 2025 and have 10% of our total workforce on an apprenticeship or learning programme.

Partnering with our expert training provider, Realise, we offer Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years and Education apprenticeships to help you launch a successful career in childcare.

We also provide Level 5 apprenticeships for new and existing employees aspiring to advance into leadership roles and drive positive changes that enhance children’s care, learning, and development.
