Kiddi Caru Peterborough Love ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’

At Kiddi Caru Peterborough, the preschool children recreated ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ story. To begin the day they had shown an interest in listening to the story then asked to make their own caterpillar. They used recycled boxes and decorated them to create their own caterpillar and named it ‘Frenchy’. Preschool then discussed the cycle of a caterpillar going into a cocoon and turning into a butterfly. The children have thoroughly enjoyed recreating this story and talking about healthy and unhealthy foods and the importance of a balanced diet.
