Charnwood Day Nursery Mud Kitchen

After growing and picking all our vegetables from our garden, it was left empty! So, the staff buried vegetables for the children to dig up and use in the mud kitchen. The little ones dug them up from the mud, gave them a wash and used them during their play. Lots of discussion took place about food they like, where it comes from and what makes them healthy to eat.
