May I Say Thank You: Employee Appreciation through the Month of May and Beyond!

At Grandir UK, May is our employee appreciation month which we call: May I Say Thank You!

We spend the whole month of May showing gratitude to all our employees across the network for all the hard work they do each and every day.

What we did this year

So many of our team managers went above and beyond to show their appreciation for their staff members in both big and small ways.

Our people have enjoyed special activities and events throughout the month of May including…

Plus, we’ve continued with our traditional, regional Grand Award ceremony celebrations!

Our Grand Awards Ceremonies

These ceremonies are a much-loved part of May I Say Thank You.

The Grand Awards takes place on a day in May, giving our teams the chance to get together across their region and spend a night celebrating all their hard work.

At each ceremony, nine awards are presented to the employees which have been nominated by their peers and colleagues as the most passionate, hardworking, skilled team member for that award.

It is a fun filled evening where all our staff across the network can let their hair down and have fun with their peers.

Why is staff appreciation so important?

Our employee appreciation is not just for one month, but all year round!

We align our staff appreciation month with Mental Health Awareness week in May, Monday 13th to Sunday 19th May in 2024, to highlight how gratitude can contribute to positive mental health and wellbeing for our staff and colleagues.
