Kiddi Caru Harlow Recognise Shapes

The preschool children at Kiddi Caru Harlow have been exploring shapes. They put their shape knowledge to the test by going out into the garden and matched shapes in the environment, such as a circle with a tyre. Where as, inside they looked at toys, objects and made their own marks on the easel. As well as shapes, they also matched colours with other items and recognised what the colours are called. These early mathematical and communication skills help to prepare them for school and beyond.
