Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool in Basingstoke Celebrates Ofsted ‘Good’ Rating

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool in Basingstoke are delighted to announce their recent ‘Good’ rating following their latest Ofsted inspection, which took place on 13 January 2025.

The nursery received a ‘Good’ grade across all assessment areas, showcasing the team’s unwavering dedication to delivering high-quality education and care to Early Years children.

Highlights from Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Ofsted Report

During the visit, the inspector was highly impressed by the nursery staff’s prioritisation of children’s happiness and well-being. They noted: “The staff team is dedicated to prioritising children’s happiness and well-being. Parents leave confidently, knowing their children are well supported.” This commitment from the Kiddi Caru staff fosters a supportive environment where children can grow in confidence and self-esteem.

Another area the report praised was the well-rounded curriculum the nursery follows “Staff know the children well and create a fun and inclusive curriculum. There is a strong focus on physical and language development and independence skills.” Noted the inspector. Ensuring that children are provided with a varied, fun and inclusive curriculum is very important to the Kiddi Caru Basingstoke team.

Forming strong relationships with families is a top priority for the nursery team, a strength highlighted by the inspector. “Staff have effective partnerships with parents. Staff collect meaningful information about children’s care routines and individual needs to make the transition into nursery as smooth as possible. Parents are grateful for the collaborative approach between nursery and home life that supports essential milestones.”
