Pippa’s House Nursery joins Grandir UK – an exciting new chapter begins

We’re excited to share some wonderful news: Pippa’s House Nursery, along with its seven much-loved settings across Surrey and Hampshire, is now part of the Grandir UK family.

This acquisition marks an important milestone in our mission to make enriching, high-quality childcare accessible to even more families across the UK. Pippa’s House Nurseries have long been recognised for their caring teams, enriching environments and exceptional reputation, and we’re proud to welcome them into our growing community.

Why this partnership matters

Every nursery group that joins Grandir UK adds something unique, and Pippa’s House brings a particularly special blend of creativity, warmth, and community connection.

Their ethos aligns closely with our own:

  • A belief in learning through play and exploration
  • A commitment to safe, well-designed environments
  • Strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Teams who are passionate about seeing children grow, flourish, and feel confident

By joining Grandir UK, Pippa’s House nurseries will continue operating with the same trusted educators and familiar routines families rely on. What changes is the added support behind the scenes: enriched training, additional resources, and access to national expertise across all areas of Early Years education.

What families can expect moving forward

This change isn’t about reinventing what already works beautifully, it’s about strengthening it.

Families will experience continuity in their day-to-day nursery life: familiar practitioners, consistent routines, and the same caring atmosphere. Behind the scenes, Pippa’s House teams will gain access to enhanced training, specialist support, and a connected network of Early Years professionals across the country.

Being part of Grandir UK also means:

  • A commitment to high-quality Early Years Foundation Stage delivery
  • SENCo-qualified experts at every setting
  • Improved professional development pathways for staff
  • Secure environments, including CCTV and controlled entrance systems
  • Flexible childcare options, including funded hours
  • A focus on well-being, nutrition, and learning through discovery

Together, we’ll continue to put children at the centre of every decision.

Celebrating this moment

Reflecting on the acquisition, Lydia Hopper, CEO at Grandir UK, commented:

“Pippa’s House nurseries share Grandir UK’s belief that high-quality early years provision starts with strong teams, trusted relationships and deep roots in the local community. The acquisition brings together shared strengths and values, supporting the continued delivery of exceptional care and education for children and families. Each nursery will retain its own identity, while benefiting from the stability, expertise and long-term investment that comes from being part of Grandir UK.”

Craig and Victoria Robson, previous owners at Pippa’s House Nursery, added:

“Our nurseries have always been shaped by the communities they serve, and it was important to us that this would continue. In Grandir UK, we found a provider whose values genuinely align with our own. Their commitment to high-quality Early Years education, their investment in experienced, well-supported teams, and their focus on children and families gave us real confidence in the future of the nurseries.”

This new chapter brings greater opportunities for both staff and families; more collaboration, more learning, and more ways to support every child’s unique journey.
