We’re proud to share that Grandir UK has officially achieved Disability Confident Employer recognition at Level 2, marking an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive and accessible workplace for all.
The Disability Confident scheme, developed by the UK Government, supports employers to recruit, retain and develop disabled people and those with long-term health conditions. Achieving Level 2 status recognises the positive steps we’re taking across our organisation to ensure inclusion isn’t just a statement, but something actively embedded into how we work every day.
As a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2), Grandir UK has demonstrated that we are:
This recognition builds on the foundation laid at Level 1 and shows that we’re moving beyond commitment into meaningful action, accountability and continuous improvement.

At Grandir UK, we believe that diversity strengthens our teams and inclusion helps everyone succeed. Working in early years means we understand better than most that every individual is unique, with different strengths, needs and ways of working.
Achieving Disability Confident Level 2 reflects our belief that talent should never be limited by barriers that can be removed with understanding, flexibility and the right support. We want all team members to feel confident bringing their whole selves to work, knowing they will be respected, supported and valued.
This recognition also aligns closely with our wider people strategy, which focuses on well-being, belonging and creating environments where colleagues can build long-term, fulfilling careers.

Becoming a Disability Confident Employer isn’t about ticking boxes, it’s about taking real, practical steps. Across Grandir UK, this includes:
We’re also committed to listening. Feedback from colleagues helps us understand what’s working well and where we can continue to improve, ensuring our approach remains relevant, respectful and effective.
Inclusion sits at the heart of everything we do – not just for our teams, but for the children and families we support every day. By fostering inclusive workplaces, we strengthen our ability to model empathy, understanding and equality within our nurseries.
Our Disability Confident Employer status reinforces our role as a responsible employer within the early years sector and supports our ambition to lead by example when it comes to people-first practices.
Achieving Level 2 is a proud moment, but it’s not the end of the journey. We’re committed to continuing our work, building on this recognition and exploring opportunities to progress further within the Disability Confident scheme.
As we grow, we’ll keep reviewing our policies, processes and culture to ensure they reflect the needs of a diverse workforce and support every colleague to succeed.

If you’re considering a career with Grandir UK, our Disability Confident Employer status means you can expect a fair, inclusive recruitment process and a workplace that values your contribution and individuality.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited about the positive impact this recognition will continue to have for our people, our nurseries and the communities we serve.
