The Laurels Nursery School in Queniborough are Celebrating their Ofsted ‘Good’!

The team at The Laurels Nursery School in Queniborough would like to announce that they have been awarded a ‘Good’ rating in their recent Ofsted inspection.

Their inspection report highlighted some of the nursery’s lovely qualities, such as…

• Staff help children extend their interests and provide resources to support children’s ideas. When the preschool children were curious about ladybirds and worms, the team provided books and clear images for children to paint pictures of them.
• Children listen to staff and respond to the clear reminders to work together, share and take turns. The staff team help children learn to respect and care for resources, such as carefully placing books back on the shelves and help tidy toys away at the end of the session.
• The nursery team say that they feel supported by the managers and are encouraged to reflect on their practice and complete training to keep their knowledge up to date.
