The children enjoyed listening to the story ‘Handa’s Surprise’. As the story was being read they were able to explore some of the fruit illustrated in the book. Then the fruit was cut open allowing the children to explore them in more detail. They were also given the opportunity to taste the fruit, explore the smells and feel the textures.
