Kiddi Caru Matford Learning Walk

The preschool children had an exciting listening and learning walk around the nature reserve. We looked closely at the environment and encouraged the children to focus on the sounds around them. When the children listened hard to background sounds they were really excited to share their thoughts and ideas with the adults. The team asked lots of questions relating to the environment and encouraged them to use descriptive words. When arriving back to the nursery the children were excited to share their stories about what they had seen and heard.
