Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Ower, Romsey awarded Ofsted ‘Good’

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Ower, Romsey are celebrating their latest Ofsted inspection, where they received an Ofsted ‘Good’ rating.

The nursery was thrilled to read the following points were highlighted in their report:

• Staff were complimented on how well they encouraged children to make healthy choices. The nursery provides balanced, home-cooked snacks and meals, as well as holding weekly cooking classes for the nursery children so they can further learn about healthy eating and its preparation.
• The manager fully supports the wellbeing and mental health of her team. Staff members comment that the Nursery Manager is very approachable, supportive and understanding. The team have constant access to training courses to help extend their early years knowledge, and they feel comfortable identifying what further training they need.
• Parents and carers also compliment the staff at the nursery, saying that the team are very approachable and always give feedback about their children’s day at drop-off and pick-up times. They receive updates from the nursery throughout the day and receive photos regarding their children’s progress and activities. Parents are happy to see their children always enthusiastic to attend nursery and love hearing how excitedly they talk about their day on their journey home.
