Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard are celebrating their Ofsted ‘Good’

Congratulations to the team at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard who have achieved a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in their latest inspection!

The report commented on some key qualities that made this nursery a great educational setting:

• The nursery team work hard to help children develop their speech and language skills. The children are given regular opportunities to practise their listening and attention abilities through group activities. The team use sign language to help communication with all children, no matter what their ability might be.
• Children thoroughly enjoy their outdoor play in the garden. The children practise their physical skills, such as crawling and walking, and the older children have access to large outdoor spaces to develop their coordination, balance and climbing abilities. Everyone can enjoy the natural elements of the garden, where children watch insects in the wildflowers.
• The nursery has great relationships with their families. Parents say that their children are ‘always proud to tell us about what they have done at nursery’. Parents love the regular communication with their child’s key person and feel well informed about their developmental progress. Parents say the settling-in process and transition times when children move through the nursery are well managed by the friendly team.
