The team at Dicky Birds Day Nursery on Claremont Road in Surbiton has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in their latest inspection.

The Dicky Birds team are thrilled with their score and want to highlight some of the lovely comments from their report:

• The nursery puts a huge emphasis on the children’s physical wellbeing. The older children enjoy weekly forest school sessions, and all children take part in sports sessions and daily walks in the local community.
• The team has a very good relationship with the parents, and parents highly praise the nursery – “A wealth of information is shared by the staff team about children’s care and learning”.
• The manager carries out regular peer observations and team supervision sessions and provides staff with coaching to help them improve on their practice and personal effectiveness.
