Following the Government’s announcement on 10th May 2020 and their detailed advice for childcare settings, we reopened all our nurseries on Monday 1st June 2020, as the Government permitted.
Children’s safety is always our top priority, therefore we have created an eBook which provides a comprehensive outline of the measures we have put in place. These measures are based on Government guidance as well as advice from the Department for Education and NHS.
‘Early Years settings have been open to all children since 1st June (2020) and there is no evidence that the early years sector has contributed to a rise in virus cases within the community. Early Years childcare providers were the first to have restrictions lifted in recognition of the key role they play in society. Nursery staff across the country have worked hard to keep settings open through the Pandemic so that young children can be educated, and parents can work.
The earliest years are the most crucial point of a child’s development and attending early education lays the foundation for lifelong learning and supports children’s social and emotional development.’ – Department for Education
Please share this information with members of your family that will be dropping off or collecting your child from nursery.
This eBook will be updated in line with further Government directives as and when announced.
