Kiddi Caru Whiteley Make Sandwiches

The toddlers at Kiddi Caru Whiteley are always very excited to get involved in cooking activities. Recently, they have been taking care of their teddies. So, the team gave them the opportunity to make their own sandwiches for their ‘Teddy Bear Picnic’. The children showed great interest in exploring different ingredients, trying hard to name them and voice their choice of toppings. The boys and girls had so much fun using Roo cutters with their sandwiches – there were big smiles when Roo joined them! Throughout the activity, the team discussed the importance of hygiene and washing our hands. As well as, using the utensils safely, such as knives to spread the butter.
